As a visitor to Sweden you are entitled to health and medical care on the same financial terms applicable to Swedish residents provided you are covered by social security insurance in an EEA country (European Economic Agreement). You will need to show your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). Consultation Fee for Nordic Citizens and Eurepean Union Citizen with EHIC is 200 SEK.

If you are not covered by the EEA or can not show your EHIC card you will be charged in full 1825 SEK.

Kvartersakuten Serafen – A primary healthcare centre in the centre of Stockholm

Welcome to Kvartersakuten Serafen, a primary healthcare centre located close to City Hall in the building that once held Sweden’s first hospital – the Serafimer Hospital. Our staff includes eleven doctors specialized in family medicine and another three certified doctors in training to become specialists.

We are open 8 am to 5 pm every weekday. To make an appointment, please contact the practice via phone on +46 8-5013 3900. Apart from medical consultations, we can also help you with prescriptions. If you know what medication you need, please bring the empty box with you or ask someone to take a picture of the box if you forgot at home.
